Description

This breathing interface created an interaction between the in game player, and the player's breathing. Te interface implemented multiple proof of concept features about how this could be used in a fully polished game. Examples of this include: The player's breathing being synced with the in game player's breathing, and showing through clouds of mist being exhaled, as well as puzzles that must be completed through a limited breathing constraint.

The Process

This breathing interface was created over a 1-month period in November 2020 with three other peers for a Game Interface Design final project. We began with this idea of a breathing interface that we had created earlier in the semester. After brainstorming different implementations of this sort of interface, we decided on a space station theme.
